Rubicon Leisure has four vibrant community centres — Batchley, Windmill, Oakenshaw, and Winyates Green — each serving as a hub for local engagement and connection.
At our centres, you can get involved with community groups, enjoy a variety of activities and clubs, or even host your own special occasion. We offer a wide range of regular meet-ups, held weekly, fortnightly, or monthly across our locations.
These include Worcestershire Wildlife meet-ups, Redditch Photographic Society, Redditch Table top Gamers and Baby Sensory classes.

Our Community Centres
Batchley
The base for lots of social groups and classes, including Pole Dancing, Tap Dancing, Kaizen Black Belt Martial Arts and various health classes. It is also a popular venue for parties at weekends with an enclosed outdoor space.
Oakenshaw
Our biggest community centre is home to the local Oakenshaw Residents Group. There are various classes and groups, including various exercise, social, martial arts, church-based, Scouts, NHS Pulmonary Rehabilitation, dance, Weight Watchers and Dads Stay and Play sessions. With two halls to hire and outdoor space, it’s a great space for weekend parties and special events.
Windmill
Our Windmill Community Centre hosts many local groups including, a Multiple Sclerosis group, Starlight Dance School, various exercise classes such as Pilates, Yoga and church-based and social groups. Plus a choir group and tabletop gamers club. Windmill is a popular facility for enjoying birthday parties as there are two halls available to hire and open onto an enclosed courtyard area.
Winyates Green
This single hall centre is home to Mappleborough Green Pre School, Slimming World and Starlight School of Dance. Evening activity includes an Orchestra Band session and monthly guest speakers from the World Wildlife Foundation. The centre is available to hire on evenings and weekends and during school holidays.
