Sounds In The Grounds
August 1st 2026
Sounds In The Grounds
Sounds In The Grounds is one of our favourite events of the year, a completely free community music event packed with live entertainment, fantastic local talent, family fun, great food and drink, and a brilliant summer atmosphere.
Now entering our third year, the event continues to grow, as we hope to build on the over 5000 visiters last year and we’re excited to welcome even more local bands, stallholders, entertainers, community groups, and businesses to get involved.
Taking place at The Boathouse – Arrow Valley Visitor Centre in Redditch, Sounds In The Grounds brings thousands of people together for a full day of music, creativity, food, and family-friendly fun. Everyone is welcome!
What to Expect in 2026
For 2026, Sounds In The Grounds, Our outdoor Main Stage will present high‑quality live acts throughout the day, showcasing a variety of musical styles and creating a vibrant atmosphere for families, visitors and music lovers of all ages. Alongside this, our Indoor Stage located within The Boathouse café will highlight emerging local talent. This stage will feature booked acoustic performers, up‑and‑coming artists, and a structured Open Mic session, offering a relaxed and intimate environment where new musicians can share their work with the community.
We’ll also be offering a range of family‑friendly entertainment, including face painting, balloon modelling and hopefully even more activities to be confirmed. Alongside this, there will be a wide selection of stalls and local traders, as well as information stands from community organisations and charities. This mix of live performances, local creativity and family‑focused activities aims to make Sounds In The Grounds 2026 our biggest and most engaging event yet.
