Local Bands & Artists

We always love hearing from local bands, musicians and performers who want to be part of Sounds In The Grounds. We are currently putting together our line‑up for this year’s event, and we welcome artists who would like to put themselves forward for consideration.

We are looking for performers for both our Main Stage and our Indoor Café Stage, each offering a slightly different performance experience.

For the Main Stage, we are seeking established bands and solo artists who have been performing or working together for two years or more. This helps us deliver a strong, experienced and crowd‑ready line‑up for the thousands of people who attend the event. If you are applying for the Main Stage, please include links to your performance videos or website, along with an indication of your fee for a 45‑minute or 1‑hour set.

If you are interested in performing on our Café Stage, this is a great space to try out new material, showcase original music, or simply enjoy performing to a relaxed, chilled‑out audience. We offer 30‑minute or 1‑hour slots, and welcome emerging artists, acoustic performers and musicians experimenting with new ideas. We receive a high number of submissions each year, and while we love hearing from local artists, bands and entertainers, our final line‑up depends on availability, programming requirements and the overall balance of the event.
