Rubicon Leisure has four vibrant community centres — Batchley, Windmill, Oakenshaw, and Winyates Green — each serving as a hub for local engagement and connection.
At our centres, you can get involved with community groups, enjoy a variety of activities and clubs, or even host your own special occasion. We offer a wide range of regular meet-ups, held weekly, fortnightly, or monthly across our locations.
These include Worcestershire Wildlife meet-ups, Redditch Photographic Society, Redditch Table top Gamers and Baby Sensory classes.

Our Community Centres
Batchley Community Centre
The base for lots of social groups and classes, including beavers, cubs, dance groups, martial arts as well as local NHS pulmonary rehabilitation services. It is also a popular venue for parties at weekends.
Oakenshaw Community Centre
Our biggest community centre, is home to Oakenshaw Kindergarten, various exercise classes, social groups, martial arts, a church-based group, a special Olympics group and youth clubs as well as having two rooms available for hire.
Windmill Community Centre
Hosts local groups including a Multiple Sclerosis group, Starlight Dance School, various exercise classes such as Zumba and Pilates, yoga classes, a day time indoor bowls group, church-based groups and social groups. This is also a popular facility for enjoying birthday parties as both halls open to an enclosed courtyard.
Winyates Green Community Centre
This single hall centre is home to Mappleborough Green Pre School, Slimming World and Starlight School of Dance. The centre is available to hire on evenings and weekends and during school holidays.
