Rubicon Feedback Forms – You Said, We Did

In July, we distributed feedback forms across our sites to learn what you, our valued customers, appreciate about our services and what improvements you would like us to make to improve our sites even further. We were delighted by the huge response we had from our customers, and the amount of positive and constructive feedback we received across all of our sites. A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to complete our forms and provided such valuable suggestions!

Eager to implement your feedback and enhance your site experience right away, here are just some of the changes we’ve already made to some of your favourite sites:

You Said “I would like to see some 15kg bars for the ladies. We are currently using the men’s bars, and this is a disadvantage for the women who lift.”

We Did: We have now ordered 5 additional bars for the ladies that lift. 3 will be stored in AREA 7, and 2 will be located in the downstairs gym area.

You Said: “The toilet seats are hanging off and have been like that for ages.

We Did: Our Property Services team have now supplied new fittings to all toilets within our building and will be trialling more accessible sensor flushers in the spectator toilet area.

You Said: “Too many young children using the gym during peak times.”

We Did: We have now introduced and are actively promoting the Junior Fitbox sessions, offering a structured session specially designed for children to help them focus on correct technique. These have been popular so far and will be held during off-peak times to help relieve equipment demand during peak times.

You Said: “Please open more tills for busier periods ”

We Did: We have installed a second till on the main counter to help cut queuing times in the Boathouse Café,
You Said: “Can we have smaller tables and more two seaters”

We Did: We have now added more smaller tables to the café and separated some of the four seater tables and opened the mezzanine for more seating options.

You Said: “It would be nice to see more seating up by the play park for the adults.”

We Did: We have moved some benches up to the play area and are looking to install more in that area during the winter period.

You Said: “Can we have more musicals at the Palace Theatre?”

We Did: We currently have 6 musicals scheduled into our 2025 programme, including two productions from our wonderful Palace Youth Theatre.

You Said: “Path from the 8^th green to the 9^th needs some work to be made more even and stable”

We Did: We have around 6 tons of hardcore ready and waiting on site that we will be using to improve the paths during the winter period.
