You Spoke, We Listened: Positive Changes Inspired by Your Feedback

Earlier this year, we reached out for your feedback—and you answered in your hundreds. Since then, we’ve taken the time to listen, review your suggestions, and make meaningful changes to how we operate. We’re excited to share some of the improvements that have already been made, all thanks to your input.


New Media Screens for Better Communication

To keep everyone informed about new initiatives, product updates, and maintenance work, we’ve installed digital media screens throughout the building. These screens give us the flexibility to share real-time updates across different areas, ensuring that you’re always in the loop.

Additionally, by moving away from printed posters and leaflets, this change helps us reduce waste and supports our environmental goals—a win-win!



Upgraded Fitness Equipment Based on Member Feedback

Following feedback raised at our recent Senior Engagement meeting and our feedback forms, it was clear that some of our circuit classes lacked enough equipment. This sometimes meant members had to carry items from the gym down to the sports hall and Area 7.

We’ve acted quickly—additional equipment has now been purchased and will be stored in the sports hall stores for easy access. On top of that, we will be added a brand-new set of fixed-weight barbells to the upstairs gym in the next few weeks.


Enhanced Cleaning Support

With The Abbey getting busier and footfall increasing, especially in the wet-side changing area, we recognised the need to boost our cleaning efforts. To maintain our high standards, we’ve recently brought in a contract cleaning company to support our colleagues and keep the building in top condition throughout the day.

Updated Equipment Upholstery

To ensure our gym equipment remains in excellent condition, we’ve recently updated the upholstery on six pieces of equipment. This is part of our ongoing efforts to maintain a high-quality environment for all our members.
